(Full Time) – The Field Tech will need to perform an array of tasks, including washing the exterior of vehicles using various cleaning solutions, may also wax and buff vehicles using cloths and buffing machines, vacuum interior of automobiles to remove dirt and debris, clean upholstery and surfaces, use air compressors and cloths to dry surfaces and apply preservation chemicals to surfaces for protection against spots and stains. Must be flexible and willing able to carry out additional duties as assigned by management due to operational needs.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid Driver’s License
• Able to safely operate motor vehicles in tight and small spaces
• Helpful attitude and friendly demeanor
• Highly professional and dependable
• Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
• Open availability, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Wash vehicle exterior, using cleaning solutions, water, clothes and other tools.
• Vacuums vehicle interior to remove loose dirt and debris, using vacuum cleaner as needed.
• Clean any other additional surfaces of the vehicle that may have become dirty.
• Operate all vehicles in a safe and cautious manner while driving.
• Apply any waxes or sealants to protect surfaces and preserve shine, as necessary.
• Wet Sand and Buff freshly painted vehicle surfaces while using a buffing wheel.
• Inspects craftsmanship of finish work to catch any imperfections before returning the vehicle to the owner/dealership.
