What is Heliopolis's current status?

MindCap's March 25, 2026 video opened Heliopolis for public verification and gave the playable server copy as 136530685. The announcement requires completion on that server copy, placement on the Demon List, compliance with Pointercrate rules and clearance of record suspicion before the reward is paid.

A Pointercrate exact-name query returned no Heliopolis entity on September 5, 2026. The GDBrowser proxy of the public server record showed zero stars and an Insane face rather than a rated Extreme Demon. Together, those sources support “open verification / not currently placed,” not a Demonlist rank.

This state can change quickly. A 100% completion, in-game rating and list placement would be three separate events; evidence for one does not automatically prove the other two.

How to find the official Heliopolis verification copy

Use level ID 136530685 in Geometry Dash's online search, then confirm the MindCap account and the Heliopolis name. MindCap's own open-verification announcement is the primary source for that ID.

A name search also returns noclip copies, start-position versions and unrelated levels. Those copies can be useful for a player's private practice, but they are not automatically eligible for the announced verification or bounty. The announcement specifically requires the server copy.

The GDBrowser proxy lists the public record as XL and ties it to song ID 1546698. Because the direct RobTop endpoint returned HTTP 403 from this environment, those server fields are disclosed as proxy evidence rather than mislabeled as a direct primary capture.

Who created Heliopolis?

MindCap's 2023 showcase describes a multi-year collaboration and explains that ItsHybrid previously continued hosting part of the project before MindCap took it back. It credits separate gameplay and decoration teams rather than presenting Heliopolis as a solo build.

Gameplay credits in that source include Pennutoh, Spamdrew128, Stormfly, Licen, Wespdx, GDIris, icedcave, UFWM and Para. Decoration credits include StarkyTheSalad, Galaxxyss, YoonsrDynamix, Matty2003, Magpipe, Inex, ViperArctarus and MindCap, with additional historical contributors noted in the description.

A concise attribution should therefore say “hosted by MindCap with a credited collaboration.” The current open verification has no single fixed verifier in the primary source pack, so this page does not put a progress player into the creator or verifier field.

Why the old Pablohh verifier credit is historical

The August 2023 showcase said MindCap had given verification to Pablohh, who had reached 27% at that time. The March 2026 video supersedes that arrangement by opening verification to the community under a published rule set.

Both statements can be accurate when attached to their dates. It would be inaccurate to take Pablohh's old assignment and display it as the current verifier while also describing the project as open verification.

This page records the transition rather than guessing who will finish first. A future successful player should only be labeled verifier after a legitimate 100% completion of the accepted server copy is documented.

What the verification bounty does and does not prove

MindCap's announcement uses the wording “Bounty Update: CLOSED AT $10,700.” That label describes the announced amount; it is not evidence that the verification race had ended. The rules say payment follows completion on the server copy, Demon List placement, compliance with Pointercrate rules, footage review and clearance of record suspicion. They also prohibit players from making their own unannounced nerfs or buffs.

A bounty creates an incentive; it does not verify a run by itself. A player's progress clip, stream title or claimed completion still needs to satisfy the announced build and evidence conditions.

Because the bounty is a financial and time-sensitive claim, this page links the original announcement rather than restating transfer details as permanent policy. Readers considering participation should recheck MindCap's latest instructions directly.

Song, title and the “city of the sun” name

The listed track is Apoplexy by Bee Hunter / beehunter, song ID 1546698. That is separate from the level ID 136530685.

MindCap's 2023 description explains the Heliopolis name as “city of the sun” and says it refers to a hometown rather than being named after Acropolis. That explanation is a creator statement, not a dictionary claim inferred by this page.

The same 2023 source is explicitly titled an old showcase. Use it for the project's origin and credits, while using the 2026 open-verification announcement for the current playable copy and process.

How to evaluate Heliopolis progress claims

Start by checking whether the run uses the required server copy, ID 136530685. Then save the original upload, visible percentage, unedited evidence availability and publication date. A showcase or bot run cannot replace human verification evidence.

Do not translate progress into an expected completion date. The announcement itself warns that the project is exceptionally demanding, while the source pack does not provide a validated model for attempts, player readiness or success probability.

The absence of a Pointercrate entity also means there is no current list record threshold to quote. If placement occurs later, use the stable entity permalink and a fresh dated list check.
