Who made Acheron, and who verified it?

Pointercrate credits Metalface221, Riot, Komp, GrenadeofTacos, icedcave, Cersia, LimeTime313, Endlevel, goob, AZuLer4, ewop, Deadlox, ryamu and silver. ryamu is the publisher, while Zoink is the verifier.

These labels solve three different attribution questions. The creator roster records the collaboration, the publisher identifies the listed upload account, and the verifier identifies the player who completed the accepted build. Zoink's video title says “By Riot, Ryamu, and more”; that shorthand should not replace the complete list attribution.

For a short credit, name the collaboration and link to the full roster rather than implying that the publisher built the level alone. Zoink belongs in the separate verifier credit, not in the creator list.

Zoink published the Acheron verification on August 22, 2022. The description reports 72,808 attempts, a furthest pre-completion death at 97%, and that the level was rated on August 27, 2022. Those are uploader-supplied historical details preserved in the original watch metadata.

Pointercrate independently identifies Zoink as the verifier and links the same video. The pairing is stronger than relying on a repost, reaction video or short clip because it connects the list entity to the verifier's own upload.

Attempt totals remain personal records. They do not provide a universal difficulty conversion, and comparing totals between players without equivalent conditions can be misleading.

Why old Top 1 language is not Acheron's current rank

Acheron is closely associated with Top 1 discussion from its verification era, but the live source controls the current answer. Pointercrate listed it at #23 on September 5, 2026.

An old upload title, a player's personal opinion or a historical placement cannot be pasted into a current-rank field without a date. They answer what people expected or recorded then, not where the entity sits now.

On the checked entity, Pointercrate required 70% or better for a record to qualify. That number is a list-submission threshold, not a statement that 70% of the level is enough to beat it.

The records table can grow, and the qualifying threshold can change. This reference therefore links the stable entity rather than copying a permanent victor count into prose. Use the live table when the question is “who has beaten Acheron now?”

A verification and a later accepted completion are also different roles. Zoink established the verified run; subsequent players appear as record holders, not co-verifiers.

Source-aware viewing and practice scope
